Midisurf

My name is Skylar. I live in Phoenix AZ, originally from Gig Harbor, WA. I love the desert but I miss the ocean. I love all kinds of music, mostly chillwave/synthwave stuff. A lot of early 2000s pop punk bands. I’m sure that’s where I get some inspiration from. I started making music as ghostshade early September 2025 and early 2026 as Midisurf. I live a sober lifestyle and I’m happy with it. My wife, kids and music are my whole world. I’m currently going to school for audio production, and I’m excited for the opportunities. Hopefully one day will be running my own music business.
